hello you!
Thorn-Hedge is an internet-based Pagan, Wiccan, and Metaphysical supply store rooted in the high desert of Northeast Oregon. We specialize in providing the essential tools for your path—whether you are looking for ethically sourced crystals, ritual herbs, hand-blended oils, or premium incense. From altar candles and Grimoires to unique Witchcraft jewelry, our inventory is updated daily.
Whether we’re meeting you at a Pacific Northwest festival or connecting with you here online, our mission is to serve as a reliable anchor for your journey. We honor all paths to the Divine and believe in providing ritual tools that are as functional and high-quality as they are sacred.
Our Shelves & Services
We carry an ever-increasing variety of stones, books, statues, and spell kits to help you on your journey. In addition to our curated items, we provide custom-crafted Jewelry, Wands, and Talismans created by us or our close friends. You can also enjoy a wide variety of Handcrafted Candles, Bath/Body/Skin Care, and Incense—all handmade to your order, in-house by Lyssa!
New products are being added every day, so thank you for stopping by and checking us out. If you can’t find something at first glance, please check our subcategories or email us to ask. We’d love to hear your feedback and requests, as we are here to serve you. We’re sure you’ll enjoy our value, our selection, and our service.
Thank you and enjoy your visit. Blessed Be!
We are not evil. We don’t harm or seduce people. We are not dangerous. We are ordinary people like you. We have families, jobs, hopes, and dreams. We are not a cult. This religion is not a joke. We are not what you think we are from looking at T.V. We are real. We laugh, we cry. We are serious. We have a sense of humor. You don’t have to be afraid of us. We don’t want to convert you. And please don’t try to convert us. Just give us the same right we give you–to live in peace. We are much more similar to you than you think.”

Meet The Team

Rachel [Lyssa] Cockman
Webmistress & Chief of Chaos
Responsible for the behind-the-scenes hoodoo that keeps the shop running. While I’m focused on the data, the blog, and making sure the “bugs” stay out of our piece of the web, I’m also the one ensuring every herb and oil meets our quality standards.

Cricket
Queen & General Overseer
Our very picky quality assurance manager. She takes her job seriously, though her primary method of “inspecting” the shipping station involves trying to eat the packing tape. (Don’t worry, we keep her away from the actual ritual herbs!)

Leland Cockman
Co-Owner & “General Dogsbody”
Leland is our boots-on-the-ground logistics lead. Whether he’s making post office runs or building new shelves, he’s the reason your magic gets where it’s going. He’s also responsible for the “Ooh, shiny!” factor in our inventory—if it’s sharp, pointy, or silver, he probably found it first.

A bit more about us!
Hello, I’m Lyssa, and welcome to Thorn-Hedge. My husband, Leland, and I are the owners and proprietors of this site. We live in a small town in Northeast Oregon, tucked away in the high desert. While our local pagan community is small, this store has been a long-term dream of ours—a way to reach out and connect with practitioners, whether they are in small towns like ours or part of large urban circles.
This is our store, but we hope that it is a place that you will frequent and come to love. We are open to questions and suggestions. Let us know what you need, and we will try to make it happen.
Our History & The Stormsong Tradition
The Thorn Hedge officially stepped into its own in 2014, transitioning from a long-term hobby into a dedicated shop when we bought out the full inventory of our good friends at Stormsong.org. Continuing their tradition of excellence is a point of pride for us, as we provide high-quality Wiccan, Witchcraft, and Pagan supplies to both the beginning seeker and the established practitioner. New ritual tools, altar supplies, and handcrafted goods are sourced constantly and added every day to ensure there is something for every path.
Our Paths & Practice
Leland has never met a stranger (he’ll talk to anyone!), and while I am a bit more reserved and detail-oriented, we both love connecting with new people through the craft. We bring an eclectic background to the shop: I have training in traditional, Celtic-based Wicca, but my current practice follows a Hellenic (Greek) Goddess-focused path—a blend of Wicca and modern witchcraft. I’m a cottage-witch and hedge-witch, while Leland is a proud Heathen following a Norse and Anglo-Saxon tradition.
We were married and handfasted over 25 years ago, and our shop is the place where our two paths meet in the middle.
Merry Meet, and Blessed Be!
Let us help you find what you seek.
