Description
This Fine Pewter Wheel of the Year is a sophisticated Celtic rendering of natural time. Unlike standard wheels, this design explicitly integrates the eight solar holidays—the Solstices, Equinoxes, and Cross-Quarters—with the lunar calendar. The inclusion of the moons surrounding the central solar spokes represents the ancient tradition of tracking time through both celestial bodies.
The wheel serves as a physical map of the seasons, the cycles of nature, and the karmic cycles of our own lives. At 1 3/8″ across, it has a significant presence on the altar or as a statement piece, providing a clear, tactile representation of the “ever-turning” reality of the Craft.

Behind the Hedge: “This is the version of the Wheel you want if you actually track the moons alongside the Sabbats. Most pendants ignore the lunar cycle, but this Celtic design acknowledges that the year isn’t just about the sun. At nearly an inch and a half across, it’s a substantial piece of metal. It’s one of those ‘anchor’ pieces that makes a collection feel complete, especially since these larger pewter castings are becoming harder to source in this condition.”
